Hakinson Construction is a three generation family business.  Bob Hawkinson moved his family from Kennsington, Minnesota to Alaska in 1968 and started Hawkinson Construction, Inc.

A Family Owned Business

Bob’s oldest son, Jon worked alongside his dad throughout his younger years.  After working for over 20 years with a local construction company, Jon took over the family business.  Jon’s son, Sean, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2012, while working with Hawkinson Construction, Inc. throughout school.
